This week we’re going to take a closer look at a couple of LED television models. These being the newest and some of the most impressive pieces, and probably the ones you’re looking at first to replace your older models, you might want to start looking at the Samsung UN46D6300.
The Samsung UN46D6300 is a forty six inch 1080p LED television with a 120 Hz refresh rate to reduce blurring. You’ll also get Samsung Smart TV capability which opens up plenty of streaming audio and video options, the Wide Color Enhancer place system, ConnectShare Movie to give you access to content on a camera or a USB device, a game mode to reduce lag time in video game play, Anynet+ systems, two ten watt speakers backed up by SRS TheaterSound, four HDMI inputs, two component inputs, one PC input, two headphone jacks, an ethernet input, three USB ports and an optical audio output.
It’s not hard to be impressed by this one just getting a look at it. LED picture is really impressive, especially when stacked against earlier technologies. Of course, picture and sound quality is very subjective, so you’ll want to check it out for yourself first. Still, though, I was very pleased with how this one looked. Sounded, too–seems like any time SRS gets involved, ten watt speakers which have no business being impressive suddenly take on a whole new life. Plenty of inputs for your newer gear, a few for your older stuff, and of course, streaming capability make this a good all around system that should last for some time to come.
Considering you can find this for as little as $1055 out at East Coast TV (they’re even running a two percent off sale), you might even be able to land a good deal on a nice piece of cutting edge tech.
Either way, you’re definitely going to want to have a look at the Samsung UN46D6300, a piece that will make most any home theater system better almost by default.
