Earlier today we got wind of a peripheral that when added to the iPad 2 would make a 3D effect. Unfortunately this was quite obviously an April Fool’s Joke seeing how it was nothing more than a thin piece of plastic. However, it seems that Hasbro is looking to make this a reality, not with a thin piece of plastic but instead a pair of 3D goggles you snap an iPhone or iPod touch into. Quite obviously, this then creates a 3D effect for use with various apps developed by Hasbro and, hopefully one day, third party developers.
According to reports the Hasbo My3D will be made available exclusively at Target on April 3rd. Check out more information here.
