Christie LW400 Projector

Christie exhibited its portable and compact LW400 WXGA projector with inorganic panels during InfoComm 2008 at Las Vegas. The easy-to-install projector has a brightness of 4000ANSI lumens, thus making it possible to keep the room lights on.

"The Christie LW400 is simply the best-equipped projector to fit today’s widescreen applications," notes Frank Anzures, product manager, Business Products, Christie. "Apart from the many standard features, this projector has unique characteristics. It is whisper quiet with a 31 dBA rating in economy mode and features the capability to switch on Closed Captioning to display text when playing video – two trend-setting features particularly for the education and government sectors."

The inorganic 3LCD light-engine ensures deep black levels and greater contrast. Offering the resolution of 1280 x 800, the projector features pixel-to-pixel compatibility with the laptops. Aspect ratio of 16:10, throw ratios from 0.8:1 to 7.3:1, auto digital keystone correction and lens shift makes it more usable.

The low cost of ownership is achieved, thanks to lamp life of 3000 hours and long-lasting filter of up to 2000 hours. Cabinet side handle is perfect for those who are always on the go. Christie has not yet disclosed the price for this amazing piece.
