Toshiba Announces Dynabook Qosmio V65 As A Laptop With Blu-ray And DTV

Today, Toshiba unveiled a new Qosmio laptop called the Dynabook V65 in Japan. Apparently, the appeal of this device lies in its multi-media capability. According to Toshiba, the laptop is able to create high-quality images since it has a Spurs Engine co-processor, LED backlight and a 15.6 inch “Clear Superview LED HD TFT screen with 1,366 X 768 resolution.

Furthermore, the Dynabook Qosmio V65 also comes with other features which include Blu-ray drive, digital TV tuner, Intel Core i5-450M CPU, 4GB RAM, 500GB HDD, internal harman/kardon stereo speakers, four USB ports and HDMI interface. You can expect to find Gigabit Ethernet, Wi-Fi, 0.3 MP CMOS web cam, and Windows 7 Home Premium in 32/64 bit in the device as well. Toshiba intends to release this laptop in Japan on June 17 for $1,960 and is likely to reach other places in the near future.
