Today, a company known as Planar unveiled a new 23-inch 3D monitor. Dubbed as the SA2311W, this monitor features a 120Hz refresh rate, 1920 x 1080 resolution, two millisecond response time, a height adjustable stand, VGA / dual-link DVI / HDMI inputs and compatibility for NVIDIA’s 3D Vision system. Of course, active shutter glasses are required if you want to get the full 3D effect. So, Planar also unveiled the ProGrow, a keyboard specially-designed for use with 3D active shutter glasses.
Furthermore, the ProGrow features seven adjustable light levels, which allows gamers to identify all of the keys easily even when they’re immersed in game-play. Both devices are due to be shipped in the U.S. this December. Thus, the SA2311W 3D monitor is priced at $449 while the ProGrow keyboard will retail for $185.
