I knew someday it would be invented and here it is – Buffalo’s PC-SDVD/U2G dongo is all you need to convert the old fashioned Video Tapes to digital, by connecting to your VHS player and PC.

It connects to a PC by USB, and the player with either an S-Video or composite input. Firstly it will be released in Japan. Other handy news is that apparently you can convet VHS content to an iPod or PSP-friendly format. We are unable to confirm prices o availability at this stage.
