Vizio to offer more 3D TVs at CES 2011

Just to let you know, I’m not certain whether or not Vizio, makers of such HDTVs as the E420VL and E550VL, are going to show off their new 3D HDTV line at CES 2011, but where else will they do it at?

Apparently, Vizio is planning on showing off 3D with passive glasses from 22-inches all the way up to 71-inches.

These include “LED edge lit LCDs, direct LED backlit models, ones with the Yahoo! Widgets VIA package and a couple of the new Google TV-powered models”. The company has stated that their 3D processing will be into the scren which allows for “cheaper movie theater-style 3D glasses with ostensible greater brightness and less flicker, plus compatibility with Oakley’s “optically correct” specs”.

I would imagine that they will be on display at CES, but probably not on the showfloor. About two years ago, when I saw Vizio at CES, they just rented out a room at the Wynn hotel in Vegas.
