A recent posting on Boxee’s blog has revealed that the Boxee Box won’t have VUDU or Netflix content until February.

Apparently, more time was needed because they wanted to “test each application to make sure they are ready for launch”.

I guess if you are going to err, err on the side of caution, right? The company seems to be planning for a big year in saying: “We’re confident though that our small team will continue to push the envelop of what people expect from their TVs”.

The Boxee team has also stated that VUDU should be hit the platform next week, but Netflix should be available by the end of the month.
