Sony KDL-46EX700 Television Review-Sonys Sweet LED

We’ve been working our way through the growing body of LED televisions hitting the market, and I’m very glad to see that Sony’s getting in on the game too.  Bravias have been a bit hit or miss over the line, but this one will prove to be pretty nice.  Today we’re tackling the Sony KDL-46EX700, and you’ll be pretty surprised by what it has to offer.

The Sony KDL-46EX700 is a forty six inch 1080p LED television that offers LED backlighting,  internet connectivity, including Bravia Internet Video which in turn connects to YouTube, Netflix, Slacker and more.  It also offers the BRAVIA Engine 3 full digital video processor to improve image detail, a variety of picture modes, two ten watt speakers with both Dolby Digital and Steady Sound automatic volume control as well as several sound modes, four HDMI inputs, two component video inputs, two composite video inputs, one PC input, one RF input, four audio inputs, one stereo mini input, one optical digital audio output, one audio output, a USB port, Bravia Sync and internet radio capability.

There’s a lot to like here.  You can see from the spec sheet it’s packing a host of great options.  And it’s not just great on paper; the look and sound of this model is terrific as well.  Sure, there’s better–this is just a forty six inch, after all–but it’s still pretty nice.  And better yet, you can get this one for just over fifteen hundred bucks out at Best Buy.  There’s a sale on, you see, taking about ten percent off its original retail of seventeen hundred.

If you’re in the market for a new television, then the Sony KDL-46EX700 is definitely one to put on your list to consider.
