Sony has recently announced its new BDP-S500ES Blu-ray Disc player. Incorporating the company’s newly developed HD Reality Enhancer and Super Bit Mapping technologies, this new Disc Player is capable of delivering sharper and vibrant images. Featuring Quick Start Mode, BDP-S500ES Blu-ray Disc player provides improved boot – up times to about six seconds that is seven times faster than the previous models. The new Sony BDP-S500ES Blu-ray Disc player has been designed to match pristine video performance with an exceptional audio. Incorporating the Sony’s new Precision Cinema HD Upscale technology, this player provides 1080p resolution. It is compatible with a variety of video formats.

BDP-S500ES Blu-ray Disc player will be available for sale in November 2008 at a price of about $ 2,000 from Sony Style Stores and online at sonystyle.com.
