Sharp presents new Blu-ray video recorders

Sharp has introduced two new Blu-ray video recorders that go straight into their Aquos lineup, they are named BD-HDS53 and BD-HDS55.

The only difference between these two Sharp models is the storage capacity, while the BD-HDS53 comes with 320GB, the BD-HDS55 is better with 500GB. As for the other features, they can record in MPEG-04 and H.264 format, and are compatible with DTCP-UP and DNLA. Since they will be available in the Japanese market, both models are compatible with the Japanese system SKYPerfect TV and more digital TV programs. The prices range from $850 to $950.
