NBA Finals Will Air in 3D on ESPN 3D

As you’re sure to already know 3D display technology is receiving a lot of buzz. Just about every electronics manufacturer is producing either a television, projector or display of some sort that supports the technology. However, without enough 3D content it won’t matter how many different 3DTVs there are on the market.

Luckily, things have been picking up quite a bit and ESPN has just announced a big asset – the NBA Finals. That’s right, basketball fans with 3D displays will be happy to hear that ESPN 3D will be airing the entire NBA Finals match-up on the station. Of course, it’s not known who will be playing in this match-up as the playoffs haven’t even started yet with top contenders like the Miami Heat, Boston Celtics, San Antonio Spurrs and more duking it out in the regular season.

What do you guys think about sports in 3D? Good or bad? Let us know.
