Kinect hack transports you into a strange cyberspace world

?????? S.A.C.????? ???????? from BMCL on Vimeo.

I suppose that in the future, all of our home theaters will be two gigantic screens that will be motion controlled like a Kinect. We all have seen Kinect hacks like the gesture-based remote and the one used to surf the web.

This one looks like it could be a Kinect game, and the purpose of it is to lean like you are flying and smack a sort of interesting anime tank. I believe the object is to simply stand up straight while doing this.

It looks like a scene from Ghost in the Shell: S.A.C. Solid State Society. I haven’t seen this film, but it just got a stereoscopic 3D re-release in Japan this week.

As you can see in this Kinect hack above, there doesn’t seem to be a way to do this without two big screens, which most home theater owners don’t have.
