Vutec intros Acoustically Transparent Soundscreen

Vutec Corporation took one step further in SoundScreen industry with the launch of acoustically transparent screen which will be available for view during CEDIA 2008. The screen is made up of curl free durable vinyl coated woven fabric which eliminates the need of tab tensioning.

"In the development of acoustically transparent fabrics for the screen, where speakers are placed behind the screen, the best "SoundScreen" has just gotten better," said Howard Sinkoff, Vutec’s President. "Vutec has developed the ultimate advancement to the SoundScreen with a weave that eliminates moire automatically," said Sinkoff.

Delivering the maximum quality sound, the new SoundScreen’s structure is based on Blu Ray technology and 1080P high definition projectors. The reflective coating on the screen ensures that it reflects more brightness which makes the texture invisible.

There is no attenuation of higher frequencies and obstruction of sound transmission. The price of the soundscreen which can be easily compared to high quality speaker cloth is not disclosed yet but it is available with all masking units.
