Toshiba 2011 HDTVs and their features

In spite of what I am hearing about Toshiba and the damage to the company due to the earthquake and tsunami, Toshiba is putting out a lot of interesting HDTVs.

I’m not talking about the Toshiba 40E210 LCD Television, but Toshiba highlighted some of their latest and greatest at an event in Rome which revealed TVs and laptops tied into Toshiba Places, which sorts out access to different types of apps, for video, social networking, music and more.

For example, the LED VL863 series come in 47 and 42 inch version which have FPR passive glasses 3D and four pairs of glasses, and the UL863 come in 32 and 46 inch models have 3D for built-in WiFi and Personal TV. The 55ZL1 has seven core CEVO CPU for image processing, Pro-LED512 panel with 512 zones of dimming among 3,072 LEDs, Personal TV facial reognition and then picks up the preferred settings and active shutter 3D glasses.

I don’t see any prices on these new Toshiba TVs, but I imagine that we will soon.
