Remember that “big” announcement that TiVo made when they said that inventing the DVR was only the beginning? Well, their New York event yesterday brought us the TiVo Premiere and TiVo Premiere XL DVRs.
This is meant to replace Series 3, and, as you can see, the user gets a nifty QWERTY remote control. They also support antenna, digital cable, and Verizon FIOS. The Premiere is able to record 45 hours of HD content, while the XL is able to do 150 hours. The cost of the Premiere is $299.99, and the XL is more at $499.99. They will be available in Q2 of 2010.
