Study find HDTVs in 33% of U.S. homes

.

Do you have an HDTV? If not, studies show that you probably will at some point in the future. A recent study done by a research firm entitled Nielsen has found that roughly 33% of U.S. homes have at least 1 HDTV. However, only 28.8% recieve HD programming.

EngadgetHD says that before last year’s holiday season just 23% of U.S. homes had a least one HDTV. A 10% increase of market saturation despite the poor economy. This study just confirms what everyone already knew, America is getting more technologically advanced as a whole.

HDTV makers in particular will benefit from this study as it shows more and more people are purchasing their product.
