3D TVs are becoming quite popular thanks to just about every new movie coming out in 3D. Due to this surge in popularity manufacturers across teh board have come forth with their own offerings in an attempt to secure their respective shares of the market. However, it seems that Samsung has beaten many of them to the punch as they’ve come forth today to speak of their own marketshare.

According to Samsung they currently command 60% of the United States’ 3D TV market. This is quite the head start considering the 3D TV craze only just began not too long ago. It will be interesting to see if these trends continue as time goes on or if another company (such as Vizio) will swoop in to trump Samsung for the number one stop.
