The 42 inch V421 is the latest addition made by NEC to its value-driven V Series displays. It is a reasonably priced LCD display designed with conference rooms, resultants and retail stores in mind, offering an assortment of features to its users.
Right from HDMI to 5BNC, the V421 offers a full range of inputs. It supports 1920 x 1080 full high-definition resolutions, brightness up to 500 cd/m2 and 1300:1 contrast ratio. The display is protective-glass and touch-panel-ready to dissipate potential damage and encourage interactivity. The real-time scheduler will let users schedule power on/off of content, saving both time and energy costs. Besides, to diminish overheating the display offers an advanced cooling fan-based technology.
The ENERGY STAR 5.0 compliance NEC V421 is Windows Vista-certified display. Shipping of the V421 will start from July 2010. Available with 3-year parts and labor warranty, the display will cost about $999.
