We saw thin LCD TV by Hitachi and Sony’s OLED thin display panel. Here is another thin LCD TV. This is by the JVC. The company claims it to be the world’s thinnest LCD TV with thin bezel design.
Look at the image, indeed it looks the thinnest. The company will be exhibiting the latest model in two screen sizes 42-inch LT-42SL89 and the 46-inch LT-46SL89 at the CES 2008. Designed to consume less power (145W), JVC LT-42SL89 and LT-46SL89 feature built-in tuners and 1920 x 1080p resolution.
As the models are slim at 1.5 inches (39mm) deep, with a maximum depth of just 2.9-inches (74mm), they seem to have shed off weight. The company has proclaimed the launch of these super-slim LT-42SL89 and LT-46SL89 LCD TVs during early summer in the US.
