Toshiba begins selling the first glasses-free 3D TVs in Japan

3D TVs come with a few drawbacks: mainly, you need expensive glasses to enjoy the 3D image, but now, Toshiba has put the first 3D TV that doesn’t require glasses, however, it’s only on sale in Japan.

The TV in questions costs 240,000 yen, or just under $3,000 USD, and that’s for a 20 inch set. So far, Toshiba has sold 500 units of the TV, and we’re still awaiting for the first western reviews.
