My experience with Samsung televisions wavers wildly between the fantastic and the terrible.  I’ve seen each extreme, and everything in between, from the Samsung line.  The Samsung LN46C650 is a great example of a higher end Samsung.

The Samsung LN46C650 is a forty six inch 1080p LCD television that offers a game mode to reduce blurring in high-speed images, LightSensor technology to improve picture quality, two ten watt speakers with SRS TruSurround, four HDMI inputs, one composite input, two component video inputs, two USB ports, one PC input, and an Ethernet port.

There’s no denying that this looks fantastic for an LCD television, which is now about two generations back since plasma and LED emerged.  And the sound is great–the ten watt speakers aren’t the best but that SRS TruSurround has always added an extra notch to the quality level.  And even the price isn’t too bad–Best Buy is asking around a thousand bucks for there, which isn’t out of line for a fairly sizable 1080p.  A bit much, maybe, but not off by too far.

Thus, it’s not too hard to recommend the Samsung LN46C650, a television that packs in plenty of quality, if not quite so much value.
