Known as the FlexScan S2243W-HX, this device is a widescreen unit with a Vertical Alignment panel. The new monitor also features 1920 x 1200 resolution, 1200:1 contrast ratio, 350 cd/m2 brightness, 6ms response time and ninety-five percent coverage of the Adobe RGB color space. Furthermore, it comes with connectivity ports for D-Sub, DVI-D, USB and DisplayPort as well. The FlexScan S2243W-HX Monitor comes in a black version and a gray one, which are available for shipping in Japan during the second half of this month. This EIZO monitor is also priced for retail at $650.
