CES 2011 to unveil MiLi HD, bringing iPhone footage to the TV with HDMI

January 5, in streaming

At CES, a mind-altering world of MiLi HD is about to be revealed. What is MiLi? Let’s just say that it is a way of getting video footage from your iPad or iPhone to your television with an cradle and an HDMI cable.

Until now, only component cables could be used for this, and results did vary. Some devices like the Dexim AV station worked pretty well, though.

MiLi has a track record of making good docking stations, and it plays very well with Apple. The dock also has a built-in Hi-Fi Speaker, and it will probably be on display at CES this week.

I’m not certain when it will hit the market, but it should cost about $99.99 when it does.
