Vizio VHT210 Home Theater System Review-Decent Soundbar System

And we close out our week of looking at home theater with a look at an unusual sort of soundbar system today, the Vizio VHT210. Soundbars have often proved something of a mixed bag in previous sessions, but how will this one stack up? Let’s take a look!

The Vizio VHT210 is a 2.1 channel surround sound soundbar that also includes a wireless subwoofer. You’ll further get Dolby Digital, SRS StudioSound and SRS TruVolume to improve the sound quality. It syncs automatically with the subwoofer, and hooks to your television with one cable. And just to top it all off, you’ll even get a swivel stand to mount the soundbar on a table, or a wall mount to do what the name implies.

The up shot here is that the sound is actually really nice for 2.1 channel surround. It’s got enough augmentation on it to really make the sound pop, and it does sound good here. It’s a very simple system, which can be good or bad depending on your preferences, but it’s going to be oddly expensive, nor will it have any kind of media player.

How expensive? Oddly enough, this one costs fully two hundred forty bucks out at Amazon. It’s a little on the pricey side, but it actually sounds pretty good.

The end result is that, if you’re looking for a soundbar system that sounds pretty good, but costs quite a bit, you may want to look at the Vizio VHT210, and have a listen to it first.
