Vizio SV421XVT LCD Television Review-Better Than Youd Expect

You may not think much of the name Vizio, that it’s a little-known brand that’s going to get steamrollered in a wider market sense, but it’s definitely had some gains in recent months. It’s a much bigger name than you might think, which is why it’s so very much worth our time to take a look at the Vizio SV421XVT.

The Vizio SV421XVT is a forty two inch 1080p LCD television with a 240Hz refresh rate, two fifteen watt speakers backed up with both SRS TruVolume and SRS TruSurround HD, four HDMI ports, an RF connector, two component inputs, an S-video port, a PC input, two composite inputs, a USB port, an SPDIF digital optical output and a headphone jack.

Both picture and sound on this one are looking great, and the sheer utility on this is downright impressive. You’ve got room for all manner of set-top boxes and other such items; about the only thing this system lacks is internet connectivity, and given the USB port, you’ll likely be able to add that on later should you decide to go that way. Old and new components alike are give a hero’s welcome here, and this may well be the hub you’ve been looking for for your home theater.

And out at Amazon, they’re offering a hefty–almost half off–discount on this one, selling it at $549.98 marked down from its original price of $949.99. That’s a whole lot of discount, folks.

So if you’re looking for a new television, you’re on a budget, and you still want quality, then I strongly suggest you get an eyeful of the Vizio SV421XVT for yourself, as you should be as impressed as I am.
