Vizio E422VA LCD Television Review-Decent Presentation

It’s time to close out the week of looking at LCD televisions with another visit to the Vizio well. We’ve seen good televisions and bad alike, but today’s look will be surprisingly good. We’re talking about the Vizio E422VA, and it’s got quite a bit to offer.

The Vizio E422VA is a forty two inch 1080p LCD television that offers two ten watt speakers backed up with SRS TruSurround, onboard wi-fi with access to the Vizio Internet Apps platform (which in turn gives you access to things like Amazon Instant Video, Netflix, and Pandora Internet Radio), an ambient light sensor that adjusts brightness on the fly, four HDMI inputs, one component input, one composite input, a PC input, an ethernet jack, two USB ports, an optical digital audio output, and a headphone jack.

Plenty to like on that spec list, there’s no doubt of that. The video quality is terrific, the audio quality is almost as good thanks to those augmented speakers, and there’s room enough for both old and new hardware. More room for new, sadly, but still plenty of room. And even better, it’s got streaming access, which provides for the most likely venue of the future of movie provision.

And here’s the best part–you can get your hands on this one for five hundred eighty eight dollars out at Amazon, which is a really nice price for a decent quality television.

You’ll definitely want to go eyes on with the Vizio E422VA; it’s an impressive piece of hardware, but the only way to tell if it will be good for your home theater is to check it out yourself. I certainly recommend you take a closer look–it’s a nice piece of equipment.
