Universal to put out Blu-ray and DVD films in flipper discs

Considering that Blu-ray hasn’t eclipsed DVD as the format of choice for our flicks, yet, it would be nice to have a choice about what to buy when a new flick comes out of the theater.

This is why Universal is decided to have “flipper disks” which are 50GB Blu-ray on side and 9GB DVD on the other. So, if you don’t have a Blu-ray player yet, you will be prepared for the day when you get one.

A new Blu-ray usually sells for $30-35, and a DVD sells for $20, the flipper disk sells for $26-28.
