Uniden has just come forth to announce their ULP1000 laser pico projector. This device can display a screen with a resolution of 848 x 480 and a 5,000:1 contrast ratio. It features both VGA and composite connections with no mention of network capabilities or any sort of expansion car slots.

Since it’s a laser projector, the ULP1000 will be able to display on virtually any surface with little to no focusing required.

There has been no word of a release date or price point so we’ll keep you posted.
