Toshibas AC100 Netbook Has Android And Lasts For Seven Days On Standby

Recently, Toshiba unveiled their new notebook, the AC100 as their first product that uses Android. This device also has a battery life of eight hours, which can last for seven days on standby.

Furthermore, the notebook is packing an NVIDIA Tegra 250 chip, 512MB of DDR2 RAM, and 8GB NAND flash memory. It also comes with a SD/MMC card reader that can expand storage so you carry more media content and a 1.3MP webcam with microphone is included as well. The webcam will give you access to video-chatting applications downloadable from the Market.

In addition to this, the AC100 runs on Android 2.1 Eclair and comes with a 10.1-inch TruBrite screen with LED-backlighting and 1,024 x 600 resolution. The notebook also weighs 870g and has other features such as a USB port, miniUSB port, a HDMI port, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and 3G. The AC100 will be available for sale in August.
