Toshiba debuts its lightweight projector TDP-XP1U at the InfoComm 2008. Specifically designed for video gaming, classrooms installations and digital home presentations, the projector features an extended lamp life.

Jeff Barney, vice president and general manager, Digital Products Division, Toshiba America Information Systems, Inc. said “With the addition of the TDP-XP1U and the TDP-XP2U projectors, users on a tight budget can purchase these solutions for on the go presentations or for easy integration with AV network control systems in government, corporate and education markets due to each projector’s RS232 control terminal.”

The 4.8 pounds weighing projector is based on DLP technology and offers an extended lamp life of 4,000 hours in economy mode. The filter free DLP projector offers crisp and vivid display. The contrast ratio of 2000:1, resolution of 1024 x 768 and manual digital keystone correction makes it one versatile device to fall for.
