Toshiba 55WX800U LED Television Review-Getting What You Pay For

And we go back into the fray of the LED television this week, folks, and we’re starting it off in grand style, too. We’ve got a sweet, massive Toshiba to check out today, the Toshiba 55WX800U. And though it will be priced like a sweet, massive television, it will come with plenty of value on hand.

The Toshiba 55WX800U is a fifty five inch 1080p LED television that offers a 240 Hz refresh rate to reduce blurring, 3D capability (once you assemble all the necessary components), built-in wi-fi access to get in on a hefty quantity of streaming sources like Netflix and YouTube, a game mode for further blurring improvement, a media player app that will let you play content from a USB device or SD memory card, four HDMI inputs, a component input, a PC input, two USB ports, an Ethernet port, and a digital audio output.

THe picture and sound on this one are both top-notch, which really should be expected out of a 1080p LED with 3D capability and a 240 Hz refresh rate. And while I’m not happy with just how well this set plays with  older hardware, it really should be expected given the nature of this television.

And as I said, the price will still be hefty, but a pretty fair deal, all things considered: the folks out at Amazon want fifteen hundred fifty bucks for this, and that’s marked down from thirty-three hundred, so you know you’re getting a good deal. That’s a little better than half off, and on a piece like this, you’re certainly getting what you pay for.

I’d suggest you check it out yourself before buying, but you should still be pretty impressed, all in all, with the Toshiba 55WX800U.
