The Cohen brothers’ cult classic The Big Lebowski has already been released on HD-DVD (yeah, we know, HD-DVD), but we’ve still to see it on, you know, the format that won: Blu-ray. Universal Studios has announced that they’re releasing a Big Lebowski Limited Edition Blu-ray set on August 16, which will include the movie in 1080p, a 28 page book on the movies, complete with stills and quotes, and extra features such as behind the scenes videos and interviews with cast and crew. No word on pricing, but expect the usual Limited Edition price tag of $50.
