Thankyou Virgin Media and ITV, Now I Can Watch the World Cup in HD

Put your hand up, if you are one of Virgin Media’s smart customers! As you are aware Virgin Media have been updating their product constantly, keeping their customers happy with programme variety. Virgin Media have announced the 6th new channel for this year, named ITV1 HD, to join the increasing HD channel line-up, no doubt, it will be the most popular amongst their customers. Nowadays, we expect stunning picture quality, found with the High Definition programmes, to be so-called standard viewing.

From, April 2nd, it will be active with no additional cost, for existing customers with TV Packages. Great news and perfect timing for all customers to enjoy all of this Summer’s 2010 Football World Cup in full High Definition (HD) glory. Virgin Media also carries several hundred hours of HD programmes on demand, all ready to start at the touch of a button.

Other programmes include :- Sports-UEFA Champions League, The FA Cup and England Internationals; HD dramas including Father & Son, Identity, The Prisoner, Foyles War and Lewis;
Factual programming including Joanna Lumley’s Nile, Greatest Cities of the World with Griff Rhys Jones, and the brand new Survival with Ray Mears.

In entertainment there are new programmes, The Whole 19 Yards, 71 Degrees North, also the return of Soccer Aid and the UK’s biggest TV show, Britain’s Got Talent.
