Thanko unveils a new media device with the Thanko HDD media player. It doubles up as a cradle for 2.5” or 3.5” SATA hard drives and features an SD memory card slot which can handle up 16GB SDHCs.

For connectivity, it boasts of HDMI, Component, SVGA and Composite which should be more than enough for you to connect it to your TV set. You also get a one-touch backup button that can help duplicate essential data when you want them.
