Recently, Teac released their latest external DVD writer called the DV-W28PUK-T for consumers in Europe. This device is mainly intended for netbook users who are usually on the go. The slim drive packs a USB 2.0 connection interface and delivers write speeds of up to 8x for DVD+R/-R, 6x for DVD+R DL, DVD-RW, 5x for DVD-RAM, 4x DVD+RW and 24x for CD-R/-RW. Furthermore, it’s measured at 142mm x 142mm x 19mm and weighs 309 grams. Thus, the Teac DV-W28PUK-T is available for 64.90 Euro ($85).
