We’ve seen plenty of hard drives around here and it’s time now to take a look at TDK’s future 2.5TB hard drive. Said drive will be comprised of four 640GB drive platters which will be neatly arranged inside a standard a 3.5-inch case. The new drives will be produced sometime in November if everything goes well with that 640GB drive platters testing.

We have some good news for laptop lovers too! TDK is also working on some 320GB platters which could be used in 2.5-inch notebook 640GB drives.

And we’re going to keep an eye for pricing and actual release dates for you folks!
