Syndiant Announced Contest on Creative and Cool Uses for Pico Projectors

Syndiant, a renowned name in high resolution microdisplays for pico projectors, has announced a contest to research creative ideas and uses for pico projectors. Syndiant’s digital VueG8 (“View-Gate”) technology saves users from the restraints of small electronic devices and offers a viewing path to share high resolution images.

The Pico projectors are widely used and the Syndiant is ready to explore the creative genius of the tech gurus and engineering students of the college in the following applications:

Automobiles, Airplanes, Smart appliances for anywhere in the home, Healthcare, Aids to the visually impaired or elderly, Security/defense, Toys, Robotics, Education (teachers – get your students thinking!), 3D, Near to eye glasses – either 2D or 3D, See through image, Non-see through for an immersive experience, Combine with gesture recognition user interface, Wireless update of video content and Decorative lighting.

The winning entry will be awarded with iPad while an individual runner up will receive an iPod nano™.

The contest begins on November 9, 2010 and ends at 11:59 p.m. Eastern on December 15, 2010.

The result will be declared at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas January 6-9, 2011. Prizes will be shipped.
