DisplayLink, has now announced that its USB display technology will not be providing core functionality for the Samsung SyncMaster 2263DX, a 22-inch LCD monitor that comes with an attached 7-inch tandem monitor.
Equipped with this new functionality and DisplayLink software, SyncMaster 2263DX will enable users to easily switch between portrait and landscape modes. DisplayLink’s USB Display Technology also provides the hardware and software to connect and power the 7-inch monitor to the main monitor by a simple USB cable.
Being an Innovations Award Honoree at CES 2008, SyncMaster 2263DX got popular among the gadget users all over the world. Sporting a compact size, this 7-inch monitor offers unique utility, media players, Skype, calendars, ample space for instant messaging and application toolbars.
