Oh man, but do I love the home theater I’m about to show you.

If you’ve ever lived in an apartment–or even a dorm room in college–you know that it’s DEFINITELY not an easy task to enjoy the home theater experience.  Space is at a premium, and so is your budget.  Forget about hiding wires inside the walls, and stadium seating might well be a bad joke.

But today, I’ve got a video here from someone who managed to pull it off.

First off, you’ll notice that there’s actually stadium seating in here, thanks to a couple reclining sofas in which one has been put on a do it yourself riser.  There’s also a bit of do it yourself in the speaker cabinetry. Thick burgundy curtains and dimmable lights serve as light management.

On the tech side, there’s a hundred and nineteen inch Brilliant White Carada screen in 1.78 : 1, a Mitsubishi projector and a 7.1 channel surround sound system.  Plus there’s a PS3 to serve double duty as gaming system and Blu-ray player.

So take heart, apartment dwellers!  You too can have choice home theater in the midst of your rental!
