Sony XBR-46HX909 LED Television Review-Magnolia Standard

So I found another in the line of Sony Bravias that shows up in Best Buy’s Magnolia series, and the Magnolia stuff has inevitably proven to be top notch.  For those of you hoping that this would be the exception that proves the rule, I hate to disappoint, but there’s really no problem here with the Sony XBR46HX909.

The Sony XBR46HX909 is a forty six inch 1080p LED television that offers 3-D compatibility when you pick up some extra components with it, Internet connectivity for access to a wide variety of content options, Bravia Engine 3 digital processing system for an improved picture, Motionflow PRO to reduce blurring, two ten watt speakers with Dolby Digital and Steady Sound to keep volume at a constant level, four HDMI inputs, two component video inputs, two composite video inputs, one PC input, four audio inputs, one optical digital audio output, a PC input, Ethernet port (to get that Internet connectivity) and a USB port.

I was actually surprised that I was listening to ten watt speakers, because this one sounded a lot better than ten-watt speakers should have allowed for.  But the picture was as fantastic as I’d come to expect from a Bravia in the Magnolia line. Admittedly, spending a whopping $3149.98 (that’s marked down from thirty five hundred) on a television is pretty hard to stomach no matter how huge and impressive it is, but still, there’s plenty of joy here for any home theater buff.

The Sony XBR-46HX909 is a beautiful centerpiece of any home theater system, and you’ll pay for every second of beauty it provides.
