Sony Strengthens Receiver Range with Four New Models

Sony, a well-known electronic and digital product manufacturer, has recently strengthened its Receiver Range with Four New Models. The four new models, including STR-DH500, STR-DH700, STR-DH800 and STR-DA6400ES. Out of these four models, STR-DA6400ES is the first network server model.

The new DLNA Certified STR-DA6400ES Receiver enables you to stream music, digital photos and video content stored in a compatible PC or home media server. It also offers a direct access to the Internet radio service SHOUTcast. This new Sony receiver will be available in the market by May 2009.

The other three models, STR-DH500, STR-DH700 and STR-DH800 Receivers have been designed to replace the existing STR-DG line-up of receivers. The first model is a 5.1 channel receiver featuring 3 HDMI inputs, while the second model is a 7.1 channel receiver that supports S-AIR. The last model, STR-DH800 features 4 HDMI inputs and High Definition codecs Dolby True HD and DTS HD Master Audio.

Sony STR-DH500 and STR-DH700 models will be available in the stores in May 2009, while STR-DH800 will be available in July 2009.
