If you’re any sort of self rsepcting home theater geek, you already know that having a surround sound system is completely necessary when situating your set up. You also probably know that Sony’s Playstation 3 is one of the best Blu-ray players on the market today also giving you the most bang for you buck.
Well, Sony has just announced that they will be unifying the two with their CECH-ZVS1 Surround Sound System that is set to drop in Japan on September 30th of this year.
Priced at just $199, this surround sound system features S-Force PRO Front Surround technology, an integrated sub-woofer and supported DTS, MPEG-02 AA, Dolby Digital and Linear PCM formats.
No word on if this will ever be released in North America but we’ll let you know.
