Sony Recalling 1.6 Million Bravia TVs

Technology is getting so highly sophisticated that it’s becoming quite hard to even think about how such new technologies are made. Unfortunately, with such a high level of sophistication comes a higher probability of error. It seems that Sony is expericing troubls such as this right now as they’ve just recalled 1.6 million of their Bravia televisions.

Apparently the problem is with televisions purchased between 2007 and 2008 that, get this, may catch on fire. According to reports the problem is within transformer components used within some of these televisions. Quite obviously, if you think you have an affected television you should get on the phone with Sony ASAP as this is definitely a major safety issue.
