Sony Prepares To Ship New Surround Sound System For The PS3

Since being shown earlier this year at E3, the Surround Sound System for the PS3 is now being prepared for shipping. Sony aims to use the audio set to improve the gamer’s experience on their console. Of course, this sound system consists of a speaker bar with an integrated subwoofer, an optical connection, an analog input for connectivity options and a remote control.

Furthermore, the remote control allows you to choose from standard, stereo, vivid or dynamic sound fields, night or dialog sound modes and volume levels. In addition to this, DTS, Dolby Digital, MPEG-02 AAC and Linear-PCM audio formats will be compatible if you choose to get an add-on. Thus, shipping for the PS3 Surround Sound System is scheduled to start next week in North America for $180 each.
