Sony KDL32L5000 Television Review-A Solid If Pricey System

Some of you might well take issue with my choice of words up there, and you’ll understand once I’ve finished writing about it here.  See, I found the Sony KDL32L5000 just a bit overpriced for what you got, and now, I’ll explain why.

The Sony KDL32L5000 is a thirty two inch 720p LCD television that includes Bravia standard features like Bravia Link and Bravia Sync, advanced contrast enhancer, and a collection of inputs, including three HDMI inputs, two component inputs, and one PC input.

Sounds pretty good so far, right?  Well, it does.  It does sound good.  But frankly, i don’t see how Sony gets off charging five hundred bucks a pop for these.  The audio and picture were at least fairly high quality–nothing worth writing the folks about but certainly not a total disaster.  The controls were also simple to use.  But considering what else I’ve seen available in the four to six hundred dollar price range so far?  This one most definitely doesn’t look like a good value.

So the Sony KDL32L5000 television is a fairly good buy, the only trouble is, there are better buys to be had.
