Sony HTSS370 Home Theater System Review-Potent In The Right Mix

I like Sony’s line of home theater systems, mostly because I’ve yet to find one that wasn’t at least passably good and didn’t offer quite a bit of quality features on it.  And the Sony HTSS370 home theater system is an example of a system that offers just that.

The Sony HTSS370 is a thousand watt, 5.1 channel home theater system that offers Bravia SYNC to let you connect a bunch of different devices with HDMI and run them all from one remote.  Plus, you get a variety of surround sound decoders, wireless ready S-AIR speakers, a subwoofer, a digital media port that allows for iPod connectivity (you’ll need an adapter, though), three HDMI inputs, one HDMI output, and digital cinema auto calibration.

The sound on this one is pretty nice, and in the end, that’s what really counts.  But there’s not a whole lot of love here for older gear, so you’ll need current hardware to make the most out of this package.  But still, it’s not a bad assortment, doubly so since it’s fairly decently priced.  Best Buy wants three hundred and fifty bucks for this one, which isn’t bad as far as speaker arrays go.

So if you’re looking for a new speaker setup, and you’ve got new gear to go with it, then you might want to check out the Sony HTSS370, a speaker setup that’s got the power if you’ve got the right material to back it up.
