Sony exhibits two LCD full high-definition displays FWD-S42H1 and FWD-S47H1 during InfoComm 2008. The displays with 1920 x 1080 resolution are designed keeping in mind movie theaters, arenas and event halls etc.
“These 1080-ready displays are perfect for public installations,” said John Holmes, marketing manager for public displays at Sony Electronics. “Their image quality, flexibility and durability meet the requests of system integrators and customers with high performance, advanced features and specifications.”
The displays with high brightness and resolution are perfect for commercial and digital signage applications. While you can control it remotely with a firmware upgrade, you can also use power on delay function to evade system power down. Merge the display in any decor with rear control buttons, slim bezel design and invisible speakers. The range of inputs includes RGB, HDMI, HD-SDI/SDI, monitor control and streaming receiver making it versatile. House the Sony HD player VSP-NS7 and mount it to rear of display.
Three types of screensavers – standby, white and sweep make the presentation look beautiful. Though the price has not been disclosed by Sony, you can get this home in October this year.
