The recently announced Sony BDV-470SS is an absolute entertainment package. It combines Sony’s BDP-S470 3D Blu-ray player with the HT-AS5 speaker system complete with iPod playback.

In addition, the BDV-470SS will let you playback a variety of content from compatible USB devices, stream music, video and TV through the BRAVIA Internet Video platform and access content stored on a computer or browse the internet using DLNA. Controlling the system’s playback functions over your home network using an iPod Touch or iPhone and a downloadable app is possible as well.

Besides, the BDV-470SS features 1000W S-Master amplification, audio processing and an FM RDS/AM radio tuner. 3D pass-through is available on all three HDMI inputs, while BRAVIA Sync lets an entire home cinema system to be controlled from one handset

Price of the Sony BDV-470SS home theater is yet to be released.
