Sony BDP-S300 Blue-Ray Disc Player

.In the month of Feb 2007, everyone was talking about Sony’s BDP-S300 Blue-Ray player to beat the summer heat with cool prices. Now Sony is shipping the awaited model to consumer electronics retailers and specialty dealers nationwide for $499. BDP-S300 player will be available shortly for sale at Sony Style stores online at the new www.sonystyle.com and at other retailers nationwide.

The new BDP-S300 is a host of advanced features including Dolby(R) Digital Plus audio codec as well as BRAVIA(R) Theatre Sync(TM) and CD playback. Sony BDP-S300 features an output of 1920 x 1080/24p high-definition video, supports various video formats, including MPEG2, MPEG4- AVC and VC1. It supports AVC-HD Media, BD-ROM, DVD video and DVD playback from DVD/DVD+R/+RW encoded discs, CD playback, as well as MP3 audio files and JPEG images stored on DVD recordable media.
